Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
DragonInit is a tool for tracking Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and combat. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Beta service, provided “as is”
The service is offered during an open beta on a best-effort basis, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data is not guaranteed to be preserved. Please keep your own copies of anything important, and don’t use DragonInit as a system of record.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information when registering, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Your content
You keep ownership of the campaigns, characters, and homebrew you create, and you are responsible for that content. Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not paste in copyrighted material you don’t have permission to share — for example, statblocks or text copied from non-SRD Dungeons & Dragons books. Content you create is private to you and the members you add to a campaign (see the Privacy Policy).
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content;
- attempt to access other users’ data, or disrupt, overload, or attack the service;
- scrape or bulk-download the site, or resell access to it.
The app’s game content
The shared monster/ability library provided by the app is System Reference Document 5.1 content, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (see the attribution in the site footer). DragonInit is an independent, unofficial tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast.
Suspension & ending your use
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can stop using DragonInit at any time and remove your account and its data as described under “Deleting your data” in the Privacy Policy.
No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DragonInit is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the beta service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app develops; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
